Mission files
Save the plan to a file to keep it. Load the file later, for example to fly the same circuit again at the field. In Mission Planner, these are Save WP File and Load WP File.
Saving keeps the plan in a file
If the plan has at least 1 item, save the plan to a file. The file has the plan as it is now.

Given the plan has at least 1 item When the operator saves the plan to a file Then the mission file is up to date
Changing the plan after saving
If the mission file is up to date and the map tool is PLAN, click the map. The plan is different from the file.

Loading brings the saved plan back
If the mission file is out of date, load the plan from the file. The file has the plan as it is now.
