Fly games against three computer pilots. Each one flies a T1-S, on the same physics as your plane. Press G for a pylon race. Press T for a game of tag. Press the same key again to stop the game and fly freely.
A game starts with all the planes in the hands of their pilots, at the pilot box. The game panel on the right of the view counts down to GO. Then the computer pilots throw their planes, and you throw yours. Labels on the view show the name of each opponent above its plane.
Tutorials
Your first pylon raceA pylon race is five laps of a triangle of three pylons, against three computer pilots. In this tutorial, you start a race, take off and fly the five laps. At the end, the game panel shows your place and your time.
A game of tagIn a game of tag, the plane that is it chases the others. You are it first. In this tutorial, you tag a computer pilot. Then that pilot chases you, until it tags you back.Topics
- Starting and stopping a game
- G starts a pylon race and T starts a game of tag. Each game starts in the same way. All the planes go back to the hands of their pilots, with a fresh battery, and the game waits while you get ready: set up, arm and throw your plane. When you take off, the game panel counts down from 5. At GO the computer pilots throw their planes, one each second, and the game clock runs from GO. Press the key of the game again to stop it. To start a game again from the beginning, press its key two times.
- Pylon race
- The course is the triangle of the pylon racing leagues (FAI F3D and F5D). Three pylons, 5 m tall, mark a lap of 400 m. Pylon 2 and pylon 3 stand 40 m apart, on the left. Pylon 1 stands 180 m from them, on the right. Fly the laps counterclockwise, with left turns, and keep outside each pylon. A lap is pylon 1, pylon 2, pylon 3 and then the start line. The start line crosses the near leg, 30 m to the right of pylon 3.
- Tag
- One plane is it: the chaser. The chaser tags another plane when it touches it, and then that plane is it. The game is two minutes long. The game panel shows the time that each pilot is it, and the pilot with the least time wins. A plane that has just become it cannot tag back the plane that tagged it for 5 seconds.
