Pylon race
The course is the triangle of the pylon racing leagues (FAI F3D and F5D). Three pylons, 5 m tall, mark a lap of 400 m. Pylon 2 and pylon 3 stand 40 m apart, on the left. Pylon 1 stands 180 m from them, on the right. Fly the laps counterclockwise, with left turns, and keep outside each pylon. A lap is pylon 1, pylon 2, pylon 3 and then the start line. The start line crosses the near leg, 30 m to the right of pylon 3.
The race is five laps, because a T1-S battery does not last for the ten laps of the leagues. The game panel shows your lap, your place, the race clock and the next pylon. A turn inside a pylon is a cut. As in the leagues, one cut adds 10 % to your time, and two cuts disqualify you. A crash, or R, takes you out of the race. The computer pilots continue until each one finishes.
A lap is once round the outside of the pylons
If the game is a race, the game clock is running, the plane is flying and the lap count is at most 4, fly round the outside of pylon 1, pylon 2 and pylon 3. Then fly across the start line. The lap count goes up by 1.

See it in Your first pylon race.
How this is tested verified
Given the game is a race And the game clock is running And the plane is flying And the lap count is at most 4 When the pilot flies a lap Then the lap count goes up by 1
The last lap finishes the race
The game panel shows your place and your time, with any cut added.
If the game is a race, the game clock is running, the plane is flying and the lap count is 4, fly round the outside of pylon 1, pylon 2 and pylon 3. Then fly across the start line. The clock on the game panel stops, and the game panel shows the results.

See it in Your first pylon race.
How this is tested verified
Given the game is a race And the game clock is running And the plane is flying And the lap count is 4 When the pilot flies a lap Then the game clock is stopped
A turn inside a pylon is a cut
The cut pylon counts as passed, so the lap continues. Your time gets 10 % more.
If the game is a race, the game clock is running, the plane is flying and the cut count is 0, turn inside the next pylon. The cut count goes up by 1.

How this is tested verified
Given the game is a race And the game clock is running And the plane is flying And the cut count is 0 When the pilot cuts a pylon Then the cut count goes up by 1
A second cut disqualifies you
The game panel says DISQUALIFIED. The computer pilots continue the race.
If the game is a race, the game clock is running, the plane is flying and the cut count is 1, turn inside the next pylon. The game panel says CUTS 2. The clock on the game panel stops, and the game panel shows the results.

How this is tested verified
Given the game is a race And the game clock is running And the plane is flying And the cut count is 1 When the pilot cuts a pylon Then the cut count is 2 And the game clock is stopped
