Switches
SE is the arm switch (channel 5). When you press it in, the autopilot arms the plane. When you let it out, the autopilot disarms it. The six buttons on the front of the radio are the mode switch. The radio mixes them into one channel (channel 8), and the autopilot divides the channel into six positions: each button is a flight mode. Button 1 is QHOVER, 2 is QLOITER, 3 is FBWA, 4 is CRUISE, 5 is AUTO and 6 is QRTL. QLOITER is the hover mode that holds the plane at one place. CRUISE is forward flight.
The arm switch arms the vehicle
If the arm switch is off and the vehicle is disarmed, put the arm switch on: SE pressed in is on, and SE out is off (with a toggle fitted in place of the button, up is on and down is off). The ARMED annunciator lights up.
Except when the game clock is counting down: see Nobody arms before GO.

See it in Taking off with the TX15, Flying a VTOL with self-levelling, Trying the buttons of the radio, Flying a VTOL with the TX15.
How this is tested verified
Given the arm switch is off And the vehicle is disarmed When the arm switch is on Then the vehicle is armed
Taking the arm switch down disarms the vehicle
If the arm switch is on and the vehicle is armed, put the arm switch off: SE pressed in is on, and SE out is off (with a toggle fitted in place of the button, up is on and down is off). The ARMED annunciator goes out.
