The flight display of the TX15

The screen of the TX15 shows the flight in the layout of the ArduPilot telemetry script of Yaapu. On top are the flight mode (big, with ARMED or DISARMED beside it), the satellites, the link and the battery. In the middle is an artificial horizon that banks and pitches with the plane, with the airspeed, the ground speed and the heading on its left, and the height above home, the climb and the distance to home on its right. The battery has a bar. The last messages of ArduPilot are along the bottom: a PreArm check that fails, a new mode, a failsafe.

The screen shows the airspeed

If the TX15 screen airspeed is 18 m/s, wait 5 seconds. The TX15 screen airspeed is at least 17.5 m/s. The TX15 screen airspeed is at most 18.5 m/s.

The screen shows what ArduPilot says

A PreArm check that fails is the most useful message when the plane will not arm. The message is in MAVLink, down the same serial line, and the screen reads it from there.

If the TX15 screen message is PreArm: Throttle (RC3) is not neutral, wait 5 seconds. PreArm: Throttle (RC3) is not neutral: the newest message line at the bottom of the screen of the TX15 says this, in the colour of its severity.
